We recently got our six month old an Evenflo Exersaucer with some of the Switch-A-Roo replacement toys. Monch loves it! He can stay seated there and amuse himself for as long as an hour.
I'm never more than a few steps away but it definitely gives me time to put away the laundry, or fix the bed, or prepare a snack, surf or blog. More importantly, we can play together while he's in the exersaucer - another great way for me to bond with my son.
