After breakfast at Mercato Centrale today, baby daddy dropped us off at the Rockwell Tent for the Expo Mom 2011 event.
As with most activities involving only Monch and me, I had my own program for the event. At registration, I would sign up for the Mommy Mundo Privilege Passport. I would drop off my art materials (donations) at the MomShare booth. Monch and me would have our complimentary picture taken at the Digiprint booth.
I had a list of booths that I wanted to visit and, of course, I wanted check out the other booths, too. And the reason I decided to go early, I wanted to catch the Laughter Yoga talk/activity.
I was able to do everything on my list and more!
One sponsor had a photobooth, and, being the photobooth addict that I am, I could not pass that up. So, even if Monch was taking his mid morning nap in the front carrier, we still did the photobooth. Yes, with props.
I also found a booth selling Gerber Graduates puffs. This is the first time I've seen them being sold in the Philippines, so I got Monch the banana flavor and the strawberry apple flavors. I was also able to get Monch a second pair of swim diapers. There were a whole lot of other stuff that I wanted to buy but I was scared of getting buyer's remorse so I got the sellers' contact information instead.
There were also a whole lot of freebies. Starting with the re-usable Mommy Mundo tote. The tote was filled with freebies, too. The exhibitors were giving out freebies, too - from soaps to detergents and from dietary supplements to candy bags.
Needless to say, Expo Mom was a success in our eyes.
