my son knowing he's safe in my arms

We watched the Pacquiao-Margarito fight on pay per view today. It was a 12 round fight with a unanimous judges' decision favoring Pacquiao. 12 rounds of shouting. 12 rounds of cheering. 12 rounds of heckling. 12 rounds of extremely high energy levels. A living room of half drunk Pacquiao fans.

Despite the commotion, my two-days-shy-of-six month old son, Monch, was knocked out by the seventh round. Regardless of what was happening around us, Monch felt safe in my arms. So safe that he was calm enough to sleep through the rest of the fight.
