the holidays

We celebrated Monch's first Christmas and New Year. It's been a while since the holidays have been so much fun.

We spent Christmas Eve with Titor's family. We went back Christmas morning for gift giving. Monch got gifts from everyone - even Santa Claus! Can you believe it? Santa Claus didn't forget about Monch!

Christmas evening, Monch and I were with my family. We had another round of gift giving. There were games for the older kids, and a gift exchange activity.

Monch met his second degree cousins, not that he'd remember, but it was definitely a photo op!

Naturally, the stage mother in me prepared several outfits... And Monch was able to use all those outfits! It was almost like a mini fashion show.

New Year' Eve, we were invited by Monch's uncle to join his family. They had a reservation at a resort overlooking Manila. There was a little swimming, a lot of eating, a New Year's countdown and fireworks, and more pictures!

Afternoon of January 1st, we went to my cousin's again. Monch played with his cousins and let his girl cousins play with him.

The holidays are over. It's back to reality, our normal lives, but I think I'll spend a day or two resting.
